Dissemination related to WP1

Dissemination of the results obtained in WP1, i.e. the prevalence of Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli O157:H7 in rocket, cucumber and strawberry samples as well as the biodiversity of the isolated strains took place during the CEN/TC 275/TAG 17 Listeria meeting held in Paris, France (4-5 June 2012), the 5th Congress of the Hellenic Initiative Society Microbiokosmos that took place in Athens, Greece (13-15 December 2012), the XI International Controlled & Modified Atmosphere Research in Trani, Italy (3-7 June 2013) and the CEN/TC 275/WG 06 Microbial contaminants meeting in Berlin, Germany (26-28 June 2013). Moreover, in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, of the University of Milan, a manuscript entitled Development and optimization of an ELISA based method to detect Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli O157 in fresh vegetables has been published in Analytical Methods and a manuscript entitled Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli O157:H7 recovery from naturally contaminated rocket and cucumber samples - Performance of the culture media and biodiversity of the isolated strains has already been submitted in peer-reviewed scientific journal of the SCI.
